Overview

Subject – Call for proposal: A consultancy service to conduct a feasibility study for a startup developing an insulation panel from textile waste.

To conduct a feasibility study focusing on market research, product positioning, and pricing strategy. The consultant will develop a clear report based on the outcomes of the feasibility study including insights, recommendations, and actionable steps that the startup could take. • The profile required for this consultancy is the following: Consultancy Firm or Business Consultant.

Berytech is the implementing partner in Lebanon of STAND Up! Sustainable Textile Action for Networking and Development of circular economy business ventures in the Mediterranean, an EU-funded project under the ENI CBC Med programme.

The STAND Up! project addresses the need for transition to an environmentally and socially responsible circular model in the textile sector, a traditional key industry in the Mediterranean with an undoubtful cross-border nature.

With the aim of empowering the Fashion, Clothing, and Textile industry in Lebanon, Berytech is launching the Textile Eco-Innovation Challenge that offers the opportunity to develop sustainable innovations by entrepreneurs for companies in this field.

To conduct a feasibility study including market research, product positioning and pricing strategy for a startup developing an insulation panel from textile waste.

To submit a clear report with insights, recommendations and action points based on the findings of the feasibility study.

The consultant will be working on the “scope of work” while adding complementary suggestions and personal input to achieve the desired outcome based on the startup’s needs and roadmap.

The consultant will conduct a feasibility study including market research, product positioning and pricing strategy and submit a clear report on insights, recommendations and action points based on the feasibility study findings.

The mission will be implemented between July and August 2023 for 4 weeks.

Consultant experienced in conducting feasibility studies and market research with more than 7 years of experience in the field.

Track record working with startups and entrepreneurs.

Effective communicator with any audience in an organized and professional manner.

Preferred previous experience working in the textile industry and sustainability matters.
